Production worker/ Sorting Employee

As a sorting employee, you will work at the sorting department at Heros. Here, you will check and sort various materials on the conveyor belt. Your job is to pick designated pieces of material off the belt and place them in the right bin.
You do this together with your colleagues to recover as many metal parts as possible. You work in so-called cabins (under the roof). Cabins are spread on all around the area. It means that you will be working as much inside as outside. At the end of the day, the belt and machines need to be cleaned.
For the first 2-3 weeks, you work day shifts, after which there is the possibility of working 2-shifts or 3-shifts. You ill work from Monday till Friday, with the possibility to work an extra on Saturdays, when it will be needed.
You work the same shift for a whole week!
Schedule:

• Day shift: 7:00 -17:00 
• Morning shift: 6:00 - 14:30
• Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 23:00
• Night shift: 22:00 - 6:00 uur (Monday till Friday)

• You hold a VCA certificate valid in NLs (recognized in the diploma register SSVV)- advantage;
• You are reliable and motivated;
• You are physically fit and able to walk and stand all day;
• You have a command of basic English/Dutch and Polish language.

• Full-time employment of 40 hours per week, Mon till Fri. Possibility to work also on Saturdays;
• Opportunity to get VCA certificate;
• You start with a gross hourly wage of 13.27 Euro (scale A1 of the CAO BGV). Note: as of 1 July, this will be 13.68 Euro gross p/hour.
• After 52 weeks of work (so not contract duration, but weeks worked) a periodic pay increase within the pay scale. Indexation in accordance with CLA.
• Shift bonus of 11.5% for 2 shifts, and 18% for 3 shifts;
• Dirt work allowance of 41.50 gross per month;
• 24 holiday days and 3.5 ADV days, age days and special leave in accordance with CLA for professional freight transport;
• Internal training opportunities (think of: Safety First courses, Learning to drive a bobcat, shovel, Dutch lessons);
• Accommodation and transport to work can be provided.
