Get started as order picker

As an order picker you are responsible for preparing and matching orders in a warehouse or distribution center.

You are also busy with the reception, storage and preparation of goods for shipment. Order pickers generally work in warehouses and distribution centers of, for example, wholesalers, supermarkets, (web) shops and mail order companies.

There is plenty of work in the logistics sector. Moreover, anyone who wants to work as an order picker often does not necessarily have to have a diploma. However, it is an advantage if you have some experience in the logistics sector or, for example, if you have a forklift or reach truck certificate. In some cases, it is also possible to obtain these certificates on the work floor.
